Ram Charan and Upasana seek Lord Venkateswara’s blessings

The newly-wed couple Ram Charan Teja and Upasana Kamineni on Saturday performed special pooja to Lord Venkateswara at hill shrine Tirupati seeking blessings for a prosperous and happy married life.

Accompanied by his father and Rajya Sabha member K Chiranjeevi and Apollo Group Chairman C Prathap Reddy and family members, the couple went to the darshan of Lord Venkateswara during VIP break darshan in early hours and performed special poojas at Ranganayakulu mandapam. The veda pundits blessed the couple of bright future. The couple also participated in the Kalyanotsavam of Lord Sri Venkateswara.

Earlier, all the members of both the families reached Tirupati in a special flight from Hyderabad and offered special poojas at Padmavathi Ammavar in Tiruchanur.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam’s Chairman K Bapiraju made special arrangements for Ram Charan and Upasana couple for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara. After performing special poojas, the couple proceeded to Aragonda, the native village of Prathap Reddy.

At Aragonda village, after having darshan of local diety Lord Anjaneya Swamy, the couple would participate in the inauguration of water treatment plant and a school.
