Rana in Ajith-Vishnuvardhan Tamil film


Rana Daggubati, who is keen to step into Kollywood film industry, is reported to have given his nod for director Vishnuvardhan to play a pivotal role in his forthcoming movie with Ajith in the lead.
As way2movies reported viewers earlier, Rana is currently busy with the shooting of his first Tamil/Telugu bilingual movie titled Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum in Telugu and Ongaram in Tamil in Krish direction. Interestingly Nayantara is playing Rana’s love lead KVJ, who is also playing the heroine in Ajith-Vishnuvardhan’s flick that also has Rana in the vital role along with Arya and Taapsee Pannu.
Sources close to director Vishnuvardhan says, the director happened to meet Rana and narrated the story and his part in the film and the latter has reportedly given his nod. From earlier talks of Rana, we all know that he is quite interested to be part of K-town films, as he was brought up in Chennai and has fluency in Tamil language.


Life Is Beautiful music launch on July 27


The audio launch of director Shekar Kammula's upcoming movie 'Life is Beautiful' will take place on July 27 in Hyderabad. The shooting schedules have been completed and major prt was shot in the set erected at Padma Rao Nagar, Hyderabad.
'Life is Beautiful' casts newcomers Abhijeet, Kaushik, Zara, Rashmi, Sudhakar, Kavya etc in the lead roles. The musical scores for the film are by Mickey J Meyer while Ananth Sriram and Vanamali worked on the lyrics.
'Life is Beautiful' also casts Amala Akkineni and Shriya Saran in crucial cameo roles. Cinematography for the film is by Vijay C Kumar.

Salim Khan feels 'Ek Tha...' is Salman's landmark film


Veteran scriptwriter Salim Khan feels "Ek Tha Tiger" will be a landmark in his actor son Salman's career.
Director Kabir Khan, showed the film to the the eminent writer, and he is quite happy with it.
"Showed 'Ek Tha Tiger' to a living legend of screenwriting in Hindi cinema. At the end of the film he hugged me and said - 'Ab sojao beta..'. With a beaming smile he said - 'it's a landmark film for Salman'. It was the man whose films we saw and studied in film school. It was Salim Khan," Kabir tweeted.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, "Ek Tha Tiger", slated for release Aug 15, will see Salman-Katrina on silver screen after four years. Their last film together was 2008 release "Yuvvraaj.
